10 x 2.5-3ft Laurel Evergreen bare root hedge plants - low maintenance hedging(10 plants)

This is for our bare root laurel plants (prunus rotundifolia) - ideal for your garden for year round leaves and very easy to maintain. 

All our plants are Grade A, fully plant pass-ported and inspected. 

All you need to do is simply choose the height of the plants you after now and the number of plants you need!

We recommend 5 plants per metre in a double row for a really thick hedge or 3 to 4 per metre in a single or staggered row if you don't mind waiting a little longer for a full hedge.

Of all the evergreen hedge plants this is probably my favourite!

The leaves are a beautiful dark shiny green, the flowers have creamy-white petals in the Spring, and in the Autumn the berries are a deep red turning darker when fully ripe.

You can trim them anytime of year - if you trim in Spring before the flowers form you won't have any berries in the Autumn.

They are very simple low maintenance plants and will grow in sun or partial shade and will be happy on all soil types and aspects - in shallow chalky soils plant in with some compost or composted bark and use bonemeal to top dress - don't use manure as it is too rich for any bare root plant.

For best results use Rootgrow when planting - it can increase the rate of growth by up to 50% - just contact us if you're not sure how much you need!
