Pond plants are sent in their rooted form and vary on size and amount of leaves/shoots depending on the time of year. The ROOT system is the main part you are buying, leaves come and go and nearly all the water plants die back over the winter months and re-grow in the spring. Plants sent normally are young with a few leaves/shoots and the pictures represent what they should look like when mature.
